Hello everyone!

This post is one of the most importants i'll ever write here ever. 

The story of my first and most unveliabable concert!

30 seconds to mars, a band leaded by Jared Leto and his brother Shannon Leto has been a really important part of my life since i was around 12-13 years old, i met them thanks to MTV in 2006-2007, the first song i ever listened was "The Kill" and since then, well i became a serious fan of their music, i've always admired their lyrics, passion and effort they put into every album they made and AMERICA was not the exception, even though at the beggining i felt the sound was a little different from the Alternative Rock i was used to hear from them, but i started to hear those new songs carefully and loved them! 

I used to have a blog a decade ago and it was dedicated to them (yeah, i was a little crazy teenage fan haha) spent to much time there, met some people online that were also fans from Mexico and Argentina, i remember so clearly how we used to chat and talk about the band haha, but man those were such good days!

Seeing them in a concert always looked so far away from my possibilities and i always joked about how they would never come to my country, so i spent 10 years like that, just seeing their shows through pictures and videos until they realeased "The Monolith Latin America Tour", and i also got sad because at first it only said tour dates for a lot of countries near mine! And i was like: Nooo, not again! haha few days later they added Guatemala on the list and i almost had a stroke, i screamed around my house and i couldn't believe it.

I waited until the tickets sale was out and bought the VIP Kings&Queens package with the concert ticket bundle that also included the Meet & Greet experience, 1 individual photo with 30STM and a bag of band merchandise. Then i still had to wait 2 more months for the show and my nerves where on an insane level, the day was getting closer and closer until October 9th came and the adventure begun. Traveled for 2 hours to get to Guatemala City, got to the Hotel where the M&G was, waited on a line, met new amazing people (Allisson, Carmen , Cindy and Daniel) and then finally entered to the location, still waited for another hour until Jared&Shannon came out and everyone started screaming! haha a Q&A round was dedicated to us and i was raising my hand until i got picked by Jared at the end, i was dying of happiness! First i thanked them for being in my country and asked about How they created the whole symbology of the band and Jared replyed saying: "Woah what a great question, Thank you " and that "They don't only like doing the covers for the album, they also like creating a sort of art and something that people would like" Unfortunately anybody could use cameras, for being an intimate time with the band.

We took the photo, Shannon said to me "Checkered", and i said "Yeah, checkered!" hahah making reference to my t-shirt, then leaved the Hotel to go to the Forum where the show was being played, waited a bit in other line then entered to "Closer to The Edge" location - very near them - and well i sang all their songs, jumped, screamed and i just enyojed every single second of this amazing experience!

Post went out long but it's very significant and i wanted to share this since it's an unforgetable adventure and experience in my life!

Este post es uno de los mas importantes que escribiré aquì por siempre!

La historia de mi primer y mas increíble concierto!

30 seconds to mars, banda liderada por Jared Leto y su hermano Shannon Leto, ha sido una banda que ha formado gran parte de mi vida desde que tenía alrededor  de 12 - 13 años, la primera canción que escuché de ellos fue "The Kill" y desde ahí, me convertí en un fan de su música, siempre he admirado sus letras, la pasión y esfuerzo que ponen en cada álbum y AMERICA no fue la excepción, aunque al principio sentí que el sonido era un poco diferente al Rock alternativo al que estaba acostumbrada a escuchar de ellos, luego presté más atención a las nuevas canciones y me encantaron!

Hace una década tuve un blog, que les dedicaba (si, era una loca fan adolescente jaja) y pasaba tanto tiempo ahí, pude conocer en línea a varios fans mas que todo de México y Argentina, recuerdo claramente cuando chateábamos y hablábamos de la banda jaja, que buenos tiempos!

Verlos en un concierto siempre lo vi tan lejos de mis posibilidades, y solía bromear con que nunca vendrían a mi país, y así pasé por unos 10 años hasta que anunciaron las fechas del Monolith Tour en Latino América, también me puse algo triste porque vi que venían a varios países cerca del mío y estaba como: Noooo, no otra vez! jaja unos días después agregaron una fecha para Guatemala y casi me da un paro, grité por mi casa y no podía creerlo!

Esperé hasta que salieran a la venta los tickets y compré el paquete Kings & Queens que incluía el ticket de entrada, la experiencia del Meet and Greet, 1 foto individual con 30stm y una bolsa con mercancía de la banda. Después tuve que esperar 2 meses para la fecha del show y mis nervios estaban a tope, el día se acercaba hasta que al fin llego 9 de Octubre y la aventura comenzó. Viajé por 2 horas a la ciudad de Guatemala, llegué al Hotel donde iba ha ser el M&G, esperé en fila, conocí gente genial (Allisson, Carmen, Daniel, Cindy) y al fin entré a la locación, luego volví a esperar alrededor de 1 hora, hasta que Jared y Shannon salieron y todos empezamos a gritar de la emoción. Una ronda de Preguntas fue dedicada a todos y estuve levantando la mano hasta al final que Jared me escogió y moría de felicidad! Primero les agradecí por esta en el país y luego pregunté acerca de ¿Cómo crearon toda la simbología de la banda? y Jared contesto: Qué gran pregunta, gracias! y que ellos "No solo les gusta hacer las portadas de los discos, si no que también crear una especie de arte y algo que le gustará a las personas". Lastimosamente nadie pudo grabar, por ser un momento íntimo con la banda.

Tomamos la foto y Shannon me dijo "Checkered" (cuadros) y respondí "Yeah, Checkered - haciendo referencia a la playera que usaba ese día ajaja, me fuí del Hotel y me trasladé al Forum donde iba a ser el concierto, esperé otro poco en fila hasta que entré a la localidad "Closer to the Edge" - que era bastante cerca de ellos - y bueno, canté todas sus canciones, salté, grité y disfruté cada segundo de esta increíble experiencia!
